Classic Tour
This extensive tour captures the very essence of Belmont Estate. It is a fusion of the past and present, unveiling the rich history of Belmont Estate and our people. The tour offers a glimpse into the workings of the estate and how it has evolved over the years. Guests discover how cocoa beans are made into chocolate as they explore the cocoa fermentary and drying house, while savouring cocoa tea. As part of the tour, you have the opportunity to "walk" the cocoa beans once they are out in the drying trays. Guests then visit our chocolate factory where they sample our organic chocolates.
The tour also explores Grenadaโs spices, fruits and vegetables, offering discoveries of unusual produce. Guests also get to meet Belmont Estate's wonderful farm animals including tortoises, donkeys, goats and our cheeky Amazon parrot, Rainbow. This comprehensive tour allows our guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the estate and the historic artifacts that built our heritage including sugar mill ruins, coppers, historic bell, whetstone, and cannon. Our complete walking tour includes exploration of all our main built facilities. It can be adapted for children and families as well.

Tree-to-Bar Chocolate Tour
This sensory tour is a full immersion into the heart of handcrafting organic chocolates from tree to bar. Guests experience the touch, taste, scents, sights and sounds of cocoa and chocolate as they become fully involved in the delicate process of creating this Food of the Gods. The tour begins with a visit to the greenhouse to learn about the propagation of cocoa seedlings and cuttings with our guests having an opportunity to propagate. We then explore the cocoa fields for a demonstration and participation in the harvesting, cracking, collecting and tasting of fresh beans before visiting the fermenting and drying areas. Our guests are then given a detailed discovery tour of our chocolate factory to learn the intricacies of small batch chocolate making.
This walking tour is designed for those wanting an in-depth experience of the complete bean-to-bar process. It takes the discerning chocolate lover on a fascinating journey of handcrafting chocolate and allows for a full immersion on the hard work that goes into it. This tour package includes our signature blended drink called โChocolate Monkeyโ, bottled water and a three-course, chocolate-themed table d hรดte lunch plus our very own Belmont Estate chocolate bars to cap off this sweet and savoury sensory tour!

Farm Tour
This specialised tour is focused on regenerative farming where guests discover the wonders of slow and sustainable agriculture. It features a full tour of the farm, showcasing cocoa, fruit orchards, vegetable gardens and dry forest. Guests are given opportunities to harvest and taste fruits; observe wildlife and wild flowers and herbs; visit a natural spring; and learn about Belmont Estate's certified organic program. It also includes a visit to our compost shed and biodigester where our guests learn more about Belmont Estateโs sustainability initiatives, low waste practices and minimal impact tourism. This walking tour has a slow and steady pace given the moderately hilly terrain to be explored.

Goat Dairy Tour
This charming new tour explores the exciting world of goat dairy and goat cheese making! Guests discover the careful and delicate process of goat cheese (โcherveโ) production while enjoying some goat cheese samples. It also includes a visit to our goat house, opportunities to feed and pet our very sociable goats and demonstrations about our milking procedures. Guests also learn how goat farming affects climate resiliency with our sustainable efforts including manure composting, water harvesting, leguminous fodder program, and best practices in reducing carbon footprint in our daily operations.

School Tours
This dynamic and fun-filled educational tour is tailored for students of all ages and aims to cultivate love for agriculture in young people! It includes various farm activities for different grade levels that schools can choose from.
- Animal interactions - Students get to closely observe and interact with our goats, parrots, macaws, and tortoises by feeding and gently petting some of them.
- Milk and cheese production - Students learn about goat husbandry and goat milk and goat cheese production, with opportunities to participate.
- Cocoa and chocolate making - Participants learn about cultivating cocoa and making chocolate. As part of this experience, they get the opportunity to walk or rake the beans as well as sample cocoa and chocolate.
- History and heritage - Students learn about the history of Belmont Estate, how we have developed over the years, and our present role on the island.
- Regenerative agriculture - Participants explore organic agriculture, composting & bio-digesting, waste management, and our other environmental and sustainability initiatives.
- Internship - We offer internship opportunities for tertiary students in our restaurant, farm, goat dairy, cocoa processing, or chocolate departments.
