Managers and Team

Belmont Estate is where nature meets history. Our vibrant and lush 17th-century organic farmland is nurtured and cultivated by the loving hands of our farmers. We take pride in preserving traditional regenerative farming methods to produce fresh, healthy organic produce.

We invite you to unravel the secrets of the cocoa bean, create luscious organic chocolate, savor flavorful organic spices, explore the wonders of sustainable farming, and meet new nature-loving friends. Your unique Grenada experience begins at Belmont Estate!

One of the highlights of our recent visit to Barba One of the highlights of our recent visit to Barbados for Europe Day 2026 was the opportunity to stand alongside an outstanding group of Caribbean entrepreneurs and food innovators who are transforming local ingredients into world-class products.

Belmont Estate was proud to represent Grenada alongside BabyLove’s C-G Foods Limited of Jamaica, Novo Farms Limited (LIFE) of Trinidad and Tobago, O’s Inc and Ulu Foods of Barbados, Suncrest Farms Inc of Guyana, and the Seamoss Association of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Together, we showcased the diversity, creativity, and resilience of Caribbean agriculture and agro-processing.
What made this experience particularly valuable was the opportunity to engage directly with distributors, retailers, buyers, development partners, diplomats, and fellow entrepreneurs. These conversations have the potential to open new markets, strengthen regional trade, and create meaningful partnerships that benefit businesses throughout the Caribbean.

For Belmont Estate, the visit was about more than showcasing our products. It was about building relationships, learning from other innovators, and exploring opportunities to bring more Grenadian products to consumers across the region and beyond.

We are grateful to the European Union and the International Trade Centre for creating platforms that connect Caribbean businesses, strengthen sustainable value chains, and help small enterprises compete on a regional and international stage.

The future of Caribbean business is bright, and it was inspiring to be part of the conversation.

Celebrating Caribbean Stories, Young Authors, and Celebrating Caribbean Stories, Young Authors, and Community!
This past Sunday, Dr. Efua Akoma (Akoma Kazi), Belmont Foundation and Belmont Estate proudly launched “Grenada’s: Island Life, Where Family, Culture & Farms Thrive,” a collection of children’s books written by children that celebrates the rich culture, traditions, families, and agricultural heritage across the Caribbean.
Led by Dr. Efua Akoma and Think and Play Village, this project was made possible through the Caribbean Culture Fund and its fiscal sponsor, Le Centre d’Art. This Intra-Caribbean project brought together partners from Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Dominica with a shared goal: increasing opportunities for first-time children’s authors to tell stories rooted in their own lives, communities, and cultures.
One of the most exciting outcomes of this project is the emergence of two brand-new young authors Kaedi Ettienne, who is 13 and Meghan Noel who is 14 years old! Their voices, creativity, and unique perspectives remind us that young people have important stories to tell, and we encourage everyone to check out their work and celebrate their accomplishments.
A special thank you to Belmont Estate for their collaboration and participation in this project. Their commitment to agriculture, sustainability, and preserving Caribbean heritage provided invaluable inspiration and learning opportunities. Belmont Estate continues to serve as a model for how sustainable farming, cultural preservation, and community development can work hand in hand to strengthen our region for future generations. This project was created because Caribbean children deserve to see themselves reflected in the books they read. Through stories about island life, family traditions, and farming, we are helping preserve our culture while inspiring the next generation of readers, writers, and changemakers.

As part of the 2026 Grenada Chocolate Festival, Be As part of the 2026 Grenada Chocolate Festival, Belmont Estate and the Grenada Chocolate Festival were proud to honour Mr. Kenroy Forteau for his outstanding contributions to Grenada’s cocoa industry.

A respected cocoa extension officer, trainer, propagator, and mentor, Mr. Forteau has dedicated decades to supporting and inspiring cocoa farmers across Grenada.

Today, he is facing kidney failure and undergoing dialysis treatment. We invite friends, farmers, and all whose lives have been impacted by his knowledge and generosity to support his GoFundMe campaign.

Every contribution will help ease the burden of his medical care and support a man who has given so much to our agricultural community.
