We were pleased to host this practical Cocoa Post-Harvest Training organised by the International Trade Centre (ITC) under the EU-funded ACP Business Friendly programme funded by the European Union. Three days of learning, sharing, questioning and hands-on practice brought together farmers, cocoa processors, chocolate makers and other stakeholders committed to strengthening Grenada’s cocoa industry. Congratulations to all participants who successful Congratulations to all participants who successfully completed the three day Cocoa Post Harvest Training Programme at Belmont Estate. Over 30 participants from across Grenada’s cocoa value chain came together to strengthen their technical knowledge and practical skills, helping to ensure that Grenada’s internationally recognised fine flavour cocoa continues to meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. Hosted by Belmont Estate in collaboration with @thebelmontfoundation , the programme was made possible through the European Union funded ACP Business Friendly Programme, implemented by the International Trade Centre in partnership with the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States through its Alliances for Action initiative. The training was expertly facilitated by cocoa specialist Ms. Sarah Bharath, whose extensive experience and practical approach equipped participants with valuable knowledge in post harvest handling and quality management. We are proud to have welcomed farmers, processors, manufacturers, and industry partners for three days of learning, collaboration, and innovation. Together, we are investing in people, preserving Grenada’s cocoa legacy, and building a stronger, more sustainable future for our cocoa industry.
